Car Detailing in Vaughan

Shop and mobile detailing across the whole city, covering L4H, L4J, L4K, L4L, L6A and L0J. Vaughan is the fastest-growing large municipality in the country, and that shows up on the paintwork: site dust, dump-truck traffic and fresh concrete are as much a part of driving here as the winter salt is.

Find Your Part of Vaughan

Vaughan covers more than 270 square kilometres and a driveway in Kleinburg has little in common with an underground space at the Metropolitan Centre. Two districts have their own pages. The rest are handled from here.

Woodbridge

Market Lane, Islington Woods, Pine Valley, Sonoma Heights, Elder Mills and the rest of the L4L area, where Highway 7 industrial fallout is the recurring problem.

Concord and Thornhill

The established south end, plus the Concord employment lands. Older housing, narrower driveways, and a lot of vehicles that commute the 407 daily.

Covered here

Kleinburg

The village and the surrounding rural lots. Long private driveways make these among the easiest mobile appointments anywhere in the city.

Covered here

Vaughan Metropolitan Centre

New towers around the subway terminus. Check with your building before booking mobile, since most new boards prohibit vehicle washing on the property.

Covered here

Beverley Glen and Weston Downs

Detached housing with driveways on both sides of the city, which makes mobile straightforward and the deeper packages the usual choice.

Why Vaughan is its own case

The City Is a Building Site, and Cars Wear It

Vaughan has been the fastest-growing large municipality in Canada for years running. Subdivisions, towers, the subway extension and the road widenings that follow all put something on the paintwork that other municipalities do not deal with at anything like this scale.

Concrete and Silica Dust

Cutting, grinding and pouring throws a fine grey dust that carries a long way on the wind. It is alkaline and it is hard, which is a bad combination on clear coat: it etches slightly if it gets wet and sits, and it scratches if anyone wipes it off dry.

Drywall and Gypsum Film

Around active residential builds the dust is finer still and turns to a chalky paste the moment it rains. It dries into a haze on glass that wipers just smear, and it works into door shuts and window seals where a normal wash never reaches.

Dump-Truck Traffic

Because the 407 is tolled, heavy trucks favour Highway 7, Langstaff, Rutherford and Major Mackenzie. Following a loaded aggregate truck means stone strikes on the bumper and hood edge, and a fine layer of whatever it is hauling on everything behind.

Site Mud on the Arterials

Wheels leaving a site track clay onto the road, and the next rain turns it into a slurry that coats lower panels and wheel arches. It dries hard and it is full of grit, so it must be softened and flooded off rather than wiped.

New Garages Leach the Most

Fresh concrete keeps curing for years and sheds lime heavily while it does. That is why the newest buildings around the Metropolitan Centre often drip worse than older ones, leaving white mineral rings that washing will not shift.

Brand New Cars, Straight Into It

New subdivisions come with new vehicles, and factory clear coat is at its softest in the first months. Parking a week-old car beside an active build is the single fastest way to put permanent marks into paint that has never been protected.

The numbers

Car Detailing Packages and Prices

The same four packages apply across the city. The lighter pair are shop bookings, the deeper pair will travel to your address. Woodbridge and Maple carry the same pricing on their own pages.

Package Best suited for Core inclusions Where Starting price
Maintenance Detail A tidy car carrying nothing worse than a dust film Interior vacuum, steamed dash, hand wash, wheels and tires Shop only From $99
Regular Cleaning Detail The daily commuter kept to a routine Vacuum, shampoo, steam, spot stains, wash and dry Shop only From $120
Interior Deep Cleaning Salt bloom, ground-in site dust, pet hair or spills Hot-water extraction, shampoo, steam, exterior hand wax Mobile or shop From $200
Complete Detail and Protection Construction fallout, mineral rings, or a full reset Full clean, clay bar, iron decontamination, six months of ceramic protection Mobile or shop From $350

These are opening figures. Bigger vehicles, embedded salt, hardened site mud, pet hair or etched mineral deposits all add hours, and the price follows the hours. Ask what is covered when you call.

Know the process

Never Wipe Construction Dust Off a Dry Car

It is the most common and most expensive mistake made in this city. The car looks dusty rather than dirty, so someone reaches for a cloth. Ten seconds later the paint has marks that take a machine polisher to remove.

  • The dust is harder than your clear coat. Concrete and silica particles are mineral, sharp-edged and unforgiving. Dragging a cloth across them turns each one into a cutting tool travelling the length of the panel.
  • Flood it, do not touch it. Every particle has to be floated off with water before anything makes contact. A proper pre-rinse is not a formality here, it is the entire difference between a clean car and a scratched one.
  • Lime needs chemistry, not effort. Concrete dust that has been wet and dried leaves an alkaline deposit bonded to the surface. It comes off with the correct treatment. It does not come off with pressure, and pressure adds damage.
  • Protect a new car before it needs correcting. If you have just moved into a new build with an active site nearby, a coating on soft factory paint is genuinely cheaper than the correction you will otherwise be paying for in two years.
Protection for a car parked near a build

Between appointments

Living Next to a Build Site

If there is active construction near where you park, a few habits will save you a paint correction later. None of them take longer than a couple of minutes.

Keep a Hose, Not a Cloth

Rinsing dust off costs nothing and risks nothing. Wiping it off is what puts the swirls in.

Do Not Let Dust Get Rained On

Dry dust brushes away with water. Dust that has been wet once bonds and needs chemical removal.

Park Upwind If You Can

Even one row further from an active site meaningfully cuts what settles on the car overnight.

Watch the Windscreen

Gypsum haze smears under wipers and scratches glass. Wet it thoroughly before the blades ever touch it.

Coat a New Car Early

Soft factory paint plus site dust is the worst pairing there is. Protection first is far cheaper than correction later.

The other services

Cleaning, Correcting and Protecting Are Three Different Jobs

Detailing removes what has landed on the car. Once the surface underneath has been marked, that is separate work with its own preparation, pricing and timeline. Each of these has a page of its own.

Paint Correction

Remove swirl marks, scratches, and oxidation. Restore your vehicle's finish to showroom-quality clarity.

Paint Correction

Ceramic Coating

Long-lasting hydrophobic protection that repels water, UV rays, and minor scratches. Applied in-shop for best results.

Ceramic Coating

Paint Protection Film

Urethane over the panels that get struck. With aggregate trucks running Rutherford and Highway 7 all day, the bumper and hood edge take far more stone damage in Vaughan than most owners expect.

Explore paint protection film

Graphene Coating

Deals with water spotting better than standard ceramic, which matters if your car sits under a new parking deck that is still shedding lime as the concrete cures.

Headlight Restoration

Sun and grit fog polycarbonate lenses to a yellow haze that cuts light output badly, which is worth fixing before winter rather than after.

Window Tinting

Holds cabin heat down and screens the ultraviolet that fades a dashboard and hardens leather, worth having on anything parked outside through the summer.

Helpful answers

Car Detailing Vaughan FAQs

How much does car detailing cost in Vaughan?
Shop bookings start at $99 and $120 for the two lighter packages. Interior Deep Cleaning is $200 and Complete Detail and Protection is $350, and both of those will come to your address instead. Where you land depends on the size of the vehicle, the state it is in, and how many hours the work takes.
Do you offer mobile car detailing in Vaughan?
Yes, from $200, across L4H, L4J, L4K, L4L, L6A and L0J. Detached homes with driveways are straightforward, and Kleinburg's long private lots are among the easiest sites we work at. Residents of the newer towers should check with their board first, as most prohibit vehicle washing on the property.
I live in Woodbridge or Maple. Is this the right page?
Both are inside Vaughan and both are covered, but each has a dedicated page with pricing and local detail written for it specifically. Woodbridge deals with Highway 7 industrial fallout and the Humber valley canopy; Maple is mobile-led with interior extraction as the usual reason people call. Use whichever matches where you park.
There is construction near my house. What does that do to my car?
Concrete and drywall dust is mineral, sharp and harder than clear coat. Dry it brushes off harmlessly with water, but once it has been rained on it bonds and turns alkaline, and at that point it needs chemical removal rather than scrubbing. The damage almost always comes from someone wiping a dusty car with a dry cloth.
My car is new. Should I wait before getting it protected?
Generally the opposite. Factory clear coat is at its softest in the first months, and that is exactly when a new car in a new subdivision is taking the most site dust. Getting protection on early costs less than correcting the marks afterwards, and it means dust rinses off instead of needing contact.
Will winter salt come out of the carpets?
Usually, but vacuuming will not do it. Salt dissolves into the carpet backing and recrystallises as it dries, which is why the white bloom keeps reappearing. Hot-water extraction flushes it out rather than redistributing it, and badly loaded carpets sometimes need a second pass to finish the job.
Can every stain and odour be removed?
Truthfully, no. Some lift completely, some fade, some stay, and which one you have depends on the substance, what it soaked into, how long it sat and whether anything has already been used on it. We look first and give you a realistic answer rather than an optimistic one.
Can every scratch be polished out?
Only those still within the clear coat, which does include most swirls, wipe marring and shallow etching. Once a defect has broken through that layer there is nothing left to level, so stone chips from truck traffic, deep gouges, exposed primer and flaking clear coat belong to a body shop.
What should I do before the appointment?
Take out anything loose and anything valuable, and lift child seats unless you want us cleaning beneath them. For mobile work, make sure the car can stay where we will be working for the whole appointment, and confirm the property allows it if you are not in a house.
Do you also do ceramic coating, paint correction and PPF in Vaughan?
All three, though each is a separate job with its own preparation, price and lead time rather than an add-on. Polishing and long-life coatings are done at the shop, because dust settling on a curing coating cannot be undone afterwards. The individual service pages explain what each covers.
